Dead computer :/

Hi !

sad news: the apple support told me that my SSD has died, so there is no
way I can get back the changes I have made and (stupidely) forgot to backup
somewhere (all the decorators removal and encoder improvements).

So I'm good to buy a new computer, setup a daily backup - or learn to work
with git branches... - and rewite the part I have lost.

Now, I will get back my dead computer next monday, and I will try to revive
the SSD (don't always trust support ;-).

Ok, shit happens. The good part is that most of my work is made remotely,
so I have many things on the 'cloud' (at least all my mails, all my code
and most of my personnal data). I also had a fresh copy of my passwords in
a copy of the keystore I used, plus a not too recent backup I can read.
It's just a matter of time to get back on my feet.

Thanks to Pierre-Arnaud who lent me an old MacBookPro, which work like a
charm despite its 7 years old (those machines age quite well...), I have a
working environnement since last week. It's just a bit slower, but I can
work.

Thanks for listening.

AND BACKUP YOUR DISKS ! don't be stupid like I was ;-)

BACKUP YOUR DISKS
I recommend CrashPlan or silimar (Mozy, BackBlaze, Carbonite etc.). Plus weekly
local full disk backups for a quickly-restorable baseline...
